MBA (Supernumerary Admission Process)

The Programme is Master of Business Administration (MBA) wherein applications of female candidates are accepted through Supernumerary Admission Process (SAP). The MBA is a two-year, full-time residential programme designed to develop principled leaders and capable decision-makers for complex organizational environments. The first year comprises three terms of compulsory core courses that build a strong foundation in management concepts, analytical frameworks, and functional disciplines. This common curriculum equips all students with the intellectual breadth and rigor essential for advanced managerial learning.
A structured Summer Internship Programme follows the first year, during which students undertake an industry assignment. The internship provides immersive exposure to real-world business challenges and enables students to translate classroom learning into managerial practice. The second year also spans three terms and offers a rich portfolio of elective courses across areas such as marketing, finance, strategy, economics, analytics, information technology, organizational behaviour, human resources, and operations and supply chain management. Students customize their academic journey in alignment with their interests and career goals, subject to programme requirements.

Scholarships

Enrolled students of IIM Sirmaur may apply for scholarships available through the National Scholarship Portal (https://scholarships.gov.in), subject to eligibility as per the norms of the respective scholarship schemes. The concerned Programme Office and the Scholarship Office of IIM Sirmaur provide guidance to students regarding the application process and completion of the required formalities.

Loan Support

IIM Sirmaur has empanelled leading banks to facilitate education loans at preferential rates of interest. Comprehensive details of these empanelled banks, including key loan features and terms, are provided to students along with the admission offer letter. Students may independently evaluate the options available and are free to select any of the empanelled banks based on their individual financial requirements and the loan facilities offered. The Institute facilitates access to information; however, the final decision regarding the selection of the bank and loan availing process rests solely with the student.
